She was turning 76 but counts her years in leap years, so 19 it was! She flew her six children in from Florida to celebrate. She told us that since her husband passed away three years ago, she really hasn't taken care of herself and she was in need of a pick-me-up. So we gave her one.

She only slept for three hours in the crew lounge before heading to Rockefeller Plaza at 5 a.m. She watches the “Ambush Makeover” segment every week and was ready for it to be her turn.

Karen is from upstate New York and said her husband was away with his friends but he would be thrilled to see her with a whole new look. Everyone thinks she now looks 20 years younger!
