Miller has been steadily improving since he burst onto the world stage at the 2002 Games in Salt Lake City. Miller, who has been a vocal advocate of changing the doping system, became the first U.S. skier to win the overall World Cup title in 22 years.
Miller, however, has yet to win a gold medal, and you can bet he will do everything he can to reach the top of the medal podium.";

Miller has lived an unorthodox lifestyle, considering he grew up on 500 acres in the forests of New Hampshire without electricity or running water, and was home-schooled. Perhaps this has something to do with his unorthodox style of skiiing.
At an early age Miller began sitting far back on his skis instead of staying centered, keeping his hands low instead of out in front, and dangling his poles in the snow instead of planting them with each turn. His coaches ignored his extraordinary slope speed and tried to correct his flaws. But Miller has not changed his style and has proved, for the most part, that he does not need to. ";

He recently lost his World Cup points lead. He has wondered aloud how much motivation he has left and has been an advocate of relaxing doping rules at the Olympics.
It's hard to tell how Miller will fare in Turin, but one thing's for sure.
