Stephon Marbury has had about as many ridiculous YouTube clips as Britney Spears and can't even figure out if he wants to play in the NBA anymore (despite making $20 million this year). Eddy Curry looks like he just doesn't care on the court. Meanwhile, off the court, owner James Dolan doesn't seem to care about any of the issues with the team unless it has to do with money, and has refused to get rid of GM and coach Isiah Thomas. This, after making a questionable re-signing of Thomas at the end of the 2006-07 season. Isiah continually shows he has no answers at postgame press conferences. He took it upon himself to trade for Marbury and Curry, thinking he could turn them around. But the Knicks have been brutal during his tenure, and Madison Square Garden had to pay over $11 million after a jury ruled Thomas verbally harassed co-worker Anucha Brown-Sanders.";

The punishment came after an incident at the 2007 NBA All-Star Weekend in Las Vegas where Jones' antics sparked a triple shooting at a strip club. Jones brought more than $81,000 in cash to \"make it rain\" as he showered more than 40 strippers with cash, but said it was \"intended for visual effect,\" and a scuffle broke out when the strippers started to pick up the cash. To make things worse, the night before Pacman went to New York to discuss the incident with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, he was spotted at another strip club.";

In January 2007, Vick was stopped by security at an airport on suspicion of carrying marijuana, although tests later indicated that was not true.

But all of that was nothing compared to what began on April 25, 2007. News spread that unlawful dog fighting activities were being conducted on a Virginia property owned by Vick. In July, Vick and three other men were hit with felony charges for operating an unlawful six-year-long dog fighting business called Bad Newz. Vick was accused of financing the operation, participating in dog fights and executing and handling thousands of dollars in related gambling activities. After a plea bargain, Vick was sentenced to 23 months in a federal prison. To make matters worse, while free on bail Vick tested positive for marijuana during a random drug test.";
