In fact, at one point, he was projected to take the lead.<p><br>Two days later, in stage 19's individual time trial, Landis finished third but passed the two men ahead of him in the overall standings, Oscar Pereiro and Carlos Sastre, to take the lead ahead of the ceremonial ride into Paris.<p><br>But shortly after the race, it was determined that Landis had tested positive for a high level of testosterone, and runnerup Oscar Pereira was awarded the victory. <p><br>Landis has appealed the Tour's decision to the Court for the Arbitration of Sport and awaits a final ruling.";
