In 1982 the Los Angeles Lakers had the first pick and selected Hall of Famer James Worthy. Not bad. But what if they selected Dominique Wilkins (selected third by the Utah Jazz)? Can you imagine Wilkins on the Lakers with Magic Johnson playing point guard?

Many are shocked that Michael Jordan was not the first pick, but believe it or not the Houston Rockets struck oil when they selected Hakeem Olajuwon with the first pick. The team that is kicking themselves in the rear end for passing on Jordan is the Portland Trail Blazers. Portland selected Sam Bowie because they selected Clyde Drexler the year before and did not need another shooting guard. But that is still no excuse on passing on the G.O.A.T. (greatest of all time).
