Like “Gran Turismo 4,” “MotoGP 07” is a great racing simulator. But the big difference between the two is that in “MotoGP” you do your racing on motorcycles, in that drag-your-knee-on-the-road-while-cornering style. While earlier “MotoGP” games were so unforgivably realistic that average gamers had trouble playing them, “07” made cornering easier, allowing the less-experienced players to finally get in on the action. 'Pole Position'
“Pole Position” may never be mistaken for a racing simulator, and its blocky graphics are far from spectacular, but the original arcade version of “Pole Position” had one unforgettable element that made it awesome: a cockpit to sit in while you play. Sitting in that enclosure made us feel like we were racing at Le Mans instead of what we were really doing: hanging out at the mall waiting for our moms to pick us up.
