Sadly, the Atari game barely resembled the &#147;Pac-Man&#148; they adored.<br></br>The 2600&#146;s mazes were totally different from the original, and those little pellets Pac-Man ate were swapped out for giant rectangular ones. Ghosts now flickered across the screen instead of gliding, and worst of all, Pac-Man&#146;s familiar &#147;whacka whacka whacka&#148; sound was replaced by an annoying &#147;bonk bonk bonk&#148; noise.";

The first-person shooter showed a lot of promise, and its developer, Free Radical, was the same one responsible for the awesome &#147;Timesplitters.&#148; Unfortunately, &#147;Haze&#148; didn&#146;t live up to expectations, and the game we hoped would be great ended up being quite average.";

Players absolutely loved the first-person shooter - especially its multiplayer mode - and were hoping for more of the same from Electronic Arts after that company bought the James Bond license. Sadly, EA gave us &#147;007: Tomorrow Never Dies,&#148; a third-person shooter that had no multiplayer mode whatsoever.";

It seemed like the possibilities for fun were limitless.
