Gravity Gun – 'Half-Life 2'
When you’re stuck in a run-down metropolis swarmed with aliens and monsters ready to rip your head off, you need some heavy artillery to stay alive while liberating humanity. And in Valve’s “Half-Life 2,” that’s the Zero-Point Energy Field Manipulator otherwise known as the gravity gun.
The gravity gun is special because it allows you to pick up objects, move them around and then shoot them at your enemies. Go ahead and pick up the saw blades and cut your opponent in half. Better yet, pick up that poor soul and throw him into someone else, killing them both.

Chainsaw – 'Doom'
What do you think a space marine on Mars should be packing when he fights demons straight from Hell? Holy water? No way. He needs a chainsaw.
“Doom,” by Id Software, has a few great weapons: the shotgun, plasma rifle and of course, the BFG 9000 (when you absolutely, positively must make sure that everything in the room is dead). But these lack the intimacy of the chainsaw. Nothing says “I own you” quite like running across a room and chainsawing your foe’s face off.";

Shrink Ray –Duke Nukem 3D
Aliens have landed on Earth, determined to destroy all mankind. Luckily for us, Duke has an arsenal at his disposal, and he’s willing to use it.
Out of all the weapons available in “Duke Nukem 3D,” we love the Shrink Ray the most. Not just for what it does (shrink your enemies down to a few inches in height) but for what it allows us to do afterwards (step on them like a bug).
Getting to inflict a little extra insult to injury is what makes this weapon so special - because nothing humiliates a friend more than crushing them with your boot.";

Railgun - 'Quake II'
“Quake II,” also from Id, bears a striking family resemblance to its older sibling, “Doom.” Both games have space marines, but in “Quake II,” you’ll take out aliens, not demons.
“Quake II” has its fair share of butt-kickin’ weapons: shotguns, super shotguns, machine guns, chain guns, and the BFG10K – the improved model of the already great gun used in “Doom.”
But our favorite is the Railgun. Why? Because the high powered weapon was able to mow through multiple enemies with one shot.";

The Pistol - 'Halo'
It could be daunting for some soldiers, knowing that they're facing an alien race determined to erase humankind, but not for Master Chief.
Master Chief is a highly trained super soldier. And in the first “Halo” installation, Master Chief was a highly trainer super soldier with one super sweet pistol.
Don’t be fooled by this pistol’s small size: This weapon mixed the high power of an assault rifle with the scope of a sniper rifle - all in a neat, compact form. Add in quick reload and fire abilities and you have a near-perfect gun.
Maybe it was too good. For the sequel “Halo 2,” Bungie made the pistol a much weaker weapon.
