A woman carrying Tina Rountree's driver's license checks into a hotel about 5 miles from Jablin's suburban Richmond home. The woman first checks in under the name of 'Tina Rountree' and then asks if she can switch the name of her reservation. The hotel clerk would later identify Piper Rountree in court as the woman who checked in for two nights. A neighbor calls 911, and claims to have heard gun shots and seen an indiscernible figure running down the street. Police respond within minutes, turn their flash lights on the homes and lawns but do not find anything. Hearthglow lane residents awake to their Saturday routines. But, one neighbor in particular was walking his dog and saw Jablin's body slumped next to his Ford Explorer in the driveway. Between 45 minutes to an hour later -- Lead Detective Coby Kelley and his team come back and examine the crime scene in the daylight. Midmorning -- Coby Kelley talks to neighbors and the children's nanny and is advised to look into Jablin's ex-wife Piper as a suspect. By about noon -- Coby Kelley had already acquired Piper's cell phone records which place her phone in Richmond. 4:25 p.m. -- Five members from the Houston PD arrive at Houston Hobby airport with driver license's license photos of Tina and Piper waiting for one of the women to get off a plane arriving from Baltimore airport. 4:40 p.m.--The flight arrives. The Houston PD are unable to locate Piper or Tina Rountree getting off the plane that day. They find out that a \"Tina Rountree\" has checked a piece of luggage, but they don't see either of the women at the baggage claim.";
