It looked to me as if he had loaded up the right and was waiting for a killer punch. That gave Grady even more time to move and recover. I also thought that K-9 chose a great strategy, but one that everyone recognized as dirty: grab the arm and hit behind the head. I guess that in a five round fight the ref would have decided the bout by taking a point away from him and didn’t want to.” --James
“Bravo definitely won that fight. But, overall the Contender is one of the best shows on television. I laugh, I cry, I get tuff, and I root for these men who have heart and passion for what they do. The only thing I would do differently about the show, is change up the segment after the fight. When someone loses a fight, their emotions are unique to them. This segment should be shot and put together with those ideas in mind. It’s too constructed and similar to all the other losing segments. Change it up this time and make each one different.” --Joshua
“Great Fights! I think Forbes did a good job of fighting K9 at his level without losing focus. K9 wanted a dog fight and he got it from the “little man with the biggest heart!” As for Grady, I think he did an awesome job staying focused even after he got knocked out. He fought 1 round at a time. Bravo fought his heart out, Grady was just too quick and just out of reach. I do believe, though, that had round 1 gone a little longer, Bravo would’ve had a good chance of finishing Grady off!” --Carlos
“If only Bravo would have thrown some upper cuts it would have been a different out come for him. I believe Steve Forbes will be the next champ because I can see that he has great focus, fast moves and great boxing skills.” --Robert
“I was hoping for a Forbes vs Bravo fight. It definitely would’ve been a better fight than the one we will see upcoming. I thought Bravo had the fight won! Grady was just too good with the jabs and uppercuts. This year’s CONTENDER definitely had a better final four than last years!” --Roberto
