Seneca was a stay-at-home mom before she became a widow. She now has an accounting degree and runs her late husband’s business while caring for her two sons. Chris is a toolmaker.
     They met on a blind date through mutual friends at a formal ball honoring Chris as Commodore of his boat club. Before meeting Chris, Seneca was happily married for 10 years to the father of her children. He died suddenly in 2001 from cardiomyopathy.
     Seneca says she knew Chris was the one when she realized how happy and compatible they are and how helpful and hands on Chris is with the kids. Chris says he knew Seneca was the one when he found himself caring more about what she was feeling than about himself.
     Chris proposed to Seneca one Saturday after they had a rare evening alone. After chatting together, the conversation became more serious. When they got home the word engagement came up, which was then rephrased to ‘Will you marry me?’
     Their idea of a fun vacation together would be an adventure. They’d go somewhere warm where they could enjoy the water and outdoors, but still have some time to relax together.
     This will be the second marriage for Seneca (age 33) and the first marriage for Chris (age 35).
