Using the Wii’s special controller, you’ll guide Zack, the boy buccaneer, and Wiki, his flying monkey sidekick, through puzzle-filled levels in search of pirate gold. But each level gets progressively harder, and you’ll need to enlist the help of the entire family if you want to make it to the end.
But rather than just sitting back and offering suggestions, this game lets three additional players use a controller to write on the screen like a telestrator, highlighting areas they feel should be checked out. It’s a good way to build teamwork.";

'Super Mario Galaxy'
Nintendo’s “Super Mario Galaxy” is a retread of a familiar theme: Mario must save Princess Peach from the evil Bowser. What’s different here is that Mario’s traveling through outer space – and the change in gravity will have you rethinking what 3-D really means.
If you walk off an edge of a rock or a patch of grass, you no longer fall to your death – you just flip over to the underside and see the game from a whole new angle. And if you want to make it all the way through the game, (trust us, you will) you’ll need to figure out how to use these new physics to your advantage.
What makes “Super Mario Galaxy” a great family game (other than being incredibly fun) is its “Co-Star Mode,” where two players work in tandem to collect Star Bits and defend themselves from enemies.";

At times it’s an old school 2-D side-scroller, like the original “Super Mario Bros.” But with a touch of a button the game becomes a modern 3-D adventure game, revealing items, passageways and secrets that were previously concealed.

While 2K’s “MLB Power Pros” may be a little too complex for the youngest gamers, it’s a perfect game to sit down and play with your ‘tweens or teenagers.
They’ll like the cartoony, Mii-like avatars of the big league ball players, and how pitching and batting can be done by swinging the Wii’s motion-sensitive controller. And you’ll like how “Power Pros” has enough of baseball’s little nuances – like pick-off moves and fielding shifts – to keep an adult engaged.";

“LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game,” which shipped in 2005, retold the stories from the Star Wars prequels. The 2006 version, titled “LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy,” covered the original films. Now, with this complete collection, you get all six chapters in one package, including updated graphics and new playable characters.
Kids will love the cute world made entirely out of little plastic bricks. Parents will appreciate how the movies’ violence gets sanitized for younger gamers (characters don’t die, they simply break apart). And both will enjoy the classic tales of good versus evil.
