Apprentice_Season2[i-1].body = "YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE DEC. 16 FINALE

WAITING FOR THE ‘AHA!’ MOMENT
”Why do I keep coming back to the Apprentice? Because I am looking for those moments in the competition, where one of the contestants clearly sees something totally outside of the box, and goes \"AHA!\"… The one I can remember well was one of the first from last year. It's where Bill Rancic, as a team leader, heard one of his team members (Amy? )brilliantly suggest putting advertising on the New York bikes that they were going to ride on … he heard the advertising idea and went with it. … I was then hooked on this program, probably for life.. just to see one of those brilliant moments again. I'm not sure that I was moved this year by anyone's \"aha!\", but you can bet it won't stop me from watching for one to happen next year! --Anonymous
POPULARITY CONTEST
”Somehow the finale of the Apprentice managed to do something that I would otherwise have thought impossible: It made a smart, attractive, successful Ivy League educated attorney, and former sorority president, to appear, at least in my eyes, as a sympathetic underdog. … For one, the near universal endorsement of Kelly by the show’s participants removed all the drama from his eventual win. … Did Trump really need to ask every white guy in the front row who they thought should win when their answers should have been fairly obvious? In the future, lose the popularity contest component or at least make it more balanced to provide some suspense. This is supposed to be a competition, not a coronation.” --Anonymous
NO REGIS
“I thought I was the only person in the western hemisphere who was as bored and disgusted with the ridiculous nonsense of the Apprentice finale. I still cannot understand where Regis fits into this? Maybe be kind to seniors week -- who knows.” --Chloe
MONEY, MONEY, MONEY
”I've always understood the O'Jay's song as a criticism of the money & here they are singing it live in part of a celbration of capitalism? Sheesh.” --Brad
CONGRATS, KELLY
”I'm soooo glad that Kelly won -- simply because he was indeed the best candidate. I did not like Jenn for several reasons, many of which were apparent from the moment you first watched her on the show. As a woman and attorney myself, I personally thought that this 'go round Trump should have considered a woman for the job this time, but Jenn lost because she deserved to. A TRUE leader (male or female) doesn't have to wear his/her \"I'm smarter than you b/c I'M A LAWYER Ivy League educations\" on their shoulders to command respect or to bash their opponents over the heads with it (see Jenn v. Sandy in final four boardroom elimination). A fine education or fancy degrees do nothing to distinguish you from others if all you do is use them to show how great you are.” --Aerin
JENN AND ENRON
”I can't believe anyone would feel Jenn had any right to be in the final two. much less win. She showed all the attributes that leave a bad taste in everyone's mouth after dealing with lawyers. She's overbearing, deceitful, and self serving. When she was praised by \"the Donald\" the week she literally did nothing (the jeans) I thought I would throw up. Being able to delegate is not supposed to mean you don't do anything but walk around and take the credit for the work done by others. I think she could easily cause another Enron disaster for what ever company she would be involved with.” --E
";
